Social Media

Bella Bridesmaids

I am currently the social media coordinator for Bella Bridesmaids DC in addition to my job there as Assistant Manager/Stylist. This role includes managing and creating content for the business’ Instagram page by taking photo and video content for posts, reels, and stories. I also source real wedding photos from our clients via Instagram and email outreach. The Bella Bridesmaids official franchise Instagram sometimes uses our content for their own posts as well.

Phi Mu

I was on the executive board of Phi Mu Fraternity at VCU as the Public Relations Director. One of the many responsibilities my position entailed is creating posts for all chapter social media accounts and updating the chapter website. The accounts I ran include Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook and I added to this list by creating TikTok and VSCO accounts for our chapter. The content I generated had to craft a positive image of Phi Mu and attract new members. This experience gave me great marketing, branding, and public relations skills. I also have gained a lot of experience with graphic design, specifically in Canva, and video editing for TikTok account and for IGTV.

Instagram

@vcuphimu

On Instagram I created posts, videos, and stories. This is Phi Mu’s primary social media that generates the most interaction and is a tool to communicate with potential new members. We also used it to raise money and awareness for our philanthropy, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

TikTok

@vcuphimu

On TikTok, I created fun videos related to our events, philanthropy, and recruitment. It was a fun way to get members excited about our events and it was also a bonding experience for them. Many of our videos were reposted on Instagram.

VSCO

VSCO is used as a place to post all of the cute extra pictures of sisters that do not make it onto Instagram. The link is in our Instagram bio so that people who look at our page can find it.
